Building a quote

Each DVI item flagged Needs attention becomes a draft line item with:

• Labor (from your shop's labor matrix)
• Parts (pulled from your connected parts suppliers)
• Notes for the customer

You can add, remove, or adjust any line before sending.

Insurance-split invoicing

Mark line items as insurance-covered and set the coverage percentage. TheGarageOS generates two invoices automatically:

• Customer invoice — uncovered amount + deductible
• Insurer invoice — covered amount, with supporting DVI photos attached

Approvals

Customers approve quotes via a link sent by SMS or email — no account needed. Approved line items move the job to in_progress.
